Our
Bell Choir:
Everyone
is invited to join our Bell Choir - no experience necessary, we
will teach you! The Bell Choir rehearses every other Thursday at 7PM,
and plays during Sunday service. If you would like to join, just attend
one the rehearsals or call our church office. |

Our
Choir:
The
church choir practices every other Sunday at 9:30 AM, and sings at the
10AM service. What better way to give praise to the Lord than to share
your
talents! If you would like to join, attend one of the rehearsals or call
our church office. |

Bible Study:
This
group enjoys Christian fellowship, meeting with the Pastor.

Nursery:
The
nursery is open every Sunday and at special events for the use of our members
and guests. It
is complete with a crib, changing table, high chair, and
toys for all ages. The
service is also piped in so our parents will not miss any part of the
worship. |

Senior
Citizens:
(German Speaking)
Seniorenkreis
(Senior Group) gets together the first and third Wednesday of every
month for a meeting, entertainment, program, and lunch. Everyone is
welcome. You need not be a member to join or participate! Various
activities are always planned throughout the year: parties, bus
trips, workshops, etc.

Worship
and Music:
This
team is concerned with making our worship
services meaningful and enjoyable. They are involved in all aspects of
worship planning. Sunday services outline, special music and
liturgy. |

Sunday
School:
Every
Sunday morning, the children join in the 10:00 AM Service through the
Children's Sermon then they go Sunday school classrooms for their lesson
based on the Sunday Lectionary used in worship.
Show your children your faith in God and bring them to Sunday
school. It is important
that our children learn about their Christian faith, they
will have fun in the process and make new friends. Please be supportive of this
children's ministry. |

Stewardship
Committee:
Our
Stewardship Committee sets realistic and achievable financial goals for
the church. It contacts all members regarding their commitment to St.
Peter’s in areas of church life. |

Youth
Committee:
Youth Committee fosters and manages youth activities from
Sunday School,
Confirmation classes, Vacation Bible School to
youth outings/activities for all ages

of Transylvania Saxons Branch 37:
1st Sunday's Monthly 3PM
The Saxon Society’s
goals are to preserve traditions and culture, to enjoy fellowship with
one another, to help and support each other in need and sorrow; and to
promote good citizenship in the communities. This
Society welcomes new members to share and learn about the Saxon
traditions and culture. If
you are interested and live in the Detroit area, they encourage you to
join their fraternal organization. |
